Blockchain Gateway - Resolve Blockchain Handlers and Open Alias
Blockchain Gateway is a free Chrome extension developed by XCUBICLE. It falls under the Browsers category and specifically the Add-ons & Tools subcategory.
This extension allows users to resolve blockchain handlers such as BTC://, XMR://, ETH://, USDT://, IGNIS://, and ARDOR://. It also supports the Open Alias (openalias.org) handler, which can be accessed through OA:// or OPENALIAS://.
When clicking on the blockchain handlers, the extension will display the value of the URL as plain text. Currently, all handlers resolve to the IGNIS child chain, serving as a test bed. The developers plan to expand to BTC, ETH, USDT, and XMR child chains on the Ardor platform.
All alias text data is stored on the Ardor Data Cloud storage network, a decentralized storage layer similar to BitTorrent. To register your own alias, you can visit the provided URL and use the password "secret" (testnet coins are available on a first-come, first-serve basis). Please note that all URL aliases reside on the Ardor testnet, but if you prefer to use the mainnet, you can install Ardor locally and configure it accordingly.
